The textured eucalyptus wash technique begins with machine and hand brushing to create the soft teak-like look
Three coats of high-quality all-weather stains are hand applied for an elegant look and feel. A final lacquer coat is used for a lasting finish and less maintenance than other natural teak or stained hardwoods.
This requires less maintenance than another natural eucalyptus, teak, or stained hardwood. Yet, oiling with teak or refined linseed oil can help prolong and rejuvenate the finish. Depending on the amount of exposure to the elements, the finish may fleck and weather, allowing the eucalyptus to naturally patina when left outside. A stone sealant does not need to be applied to the tabletop.
